Wine tasting

“This Mád winery’s lands are linked to the most distinctive soils of the Tokaj Wine Region: Király and Úrágya vineyards. Very old vines, low yield, great concentration. These points best describe the wines from here.
This vintage shows defined tertiary aromas that partly refer to the ripening. A little bread crust, green basil, tarragon and ripe pear mingle in the nose. Refined tannin and the restrained acidity appropriate to the vintage form the flavours. Long in the mouth, the subtle flowery veil that often developed thanks to a relatively hot summer can be felt in the wine’s aromatics. This is a charming, exciting and yet elegant lot.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
