Tállya is the geographical centre of Europe, and our winery is named after St Benedict, patron saint of Europe. I founded the winery in 2002 with the aim of creating a small artisan estate together with my winemaker. The foundation of our work is strict yield control on the vines, meticulous and careful work in the winery. We have 12.5 hectares in 7 dűlő, mainly Furmint with some small Hárslevelű areas. Though as the result of natural development the wines are very similar every year, the terroirs are still capable of demonstrating ever new characteristics each year.
