“Sárospatak, a historical centre of the Tokaj Wine Region, back on the edge!”
Wineries around Sárospatak have come together to show the great possibilities that the combination of the outstanding vineyards of the north of the wine region, the meticulous viticultural and oenological work and cultural heritage offer. The four-year-old association restarted with new dynamism, new members and stronger presence last year. The Association’s aim is conscious wine region presence, and the development of a distinctive Sárospatak brand, the focus of which is quality, stylish winemaking. “Naturally we belong to the Tokaj Wine Region and we the quality of the wine, but we would also like to make it even more attractive by offering new opportunities to wine lovers,” summarised the association president.
Member wineries are currently: Epsák, Harsányi, Naár Family, Pajzos and Megyer Tokaj, and Tokaj Portius.
