The Mád dűlő are among the best white wine terroirs in the world. They have a unique geology and microclimate that, though local grape varieties – primarily Furmint – offer a world of tastes and character that is new even on the international stage. The estate was founded in 2009 and is growing gradually in harmony with the opportunities. Currently we cultivate 25 hectares in four villages and 11 dűlő.
The aim is to create unique wines that truly present the dűlő of Mád and nearby, breaking down the terroir to the level of the parcel.
An equally important goal and task is to restore and replant historical dűlő that are being lost.
