Nicolas Godebski
Writer and winemaker Nicolas Godebski started his long-standing relationship with the wines of Tokaj, setting up Disznókő in 1992.
He has created wines in great vintages and acted as consultant for almost all the leading estates, thus affirming his position as one of the top specialists of these wines which are so difficult to produce and which demand both high competence and constant vigilance.
An expert taster, in particular of the great noble sweet wines that are Tokaji Aszú, his desire to see the wines of Tokaj rediscover their immense historical prestige has increased over time.
Nicolas is a driving force behind Tokaj Spring and the Great Tokaj Wine Auction, events which enable enthusiasts and experts alike to discover the rarest and most noble wines of the appellation each year.
