Tokaj’s history and greatness that span centuries influence all those who come into contact with it whether they be a simple wine lover or a an experienced professional. I myself have much to thank the region for – no less than my love of wine – for, however strange it may seem, my first real wine experiences are linked to a Dry Szamorodni. In recent years I have increasingly explored the dűlő paths in the Tokaj Wine Region, become engrossed in conversations with local winemakers that stretch on into the night and been privileged to taste the most gorgeous sweet wines of the last century, the most stunning dry wines of the last decade. I can never be thankful enough for these experiences and that Tokaj has accepted me together with all my faults.
