Winemaking
We harvested the grapes in mid-September. After whole bunch pressing the must was put straight into used barrels where it fermented and aged for 6 months. It will probably be bottled in April, May this year. Battonage weekly during aging. It is already good to taste in its present form, but still very young with fresh acids, elegant and direct, blessed with good minerality. This is a special wine.
Wine tasting
“Not totally finished in appearance, the barrel notes are strongly felt in the nose. The sip starts with defined acidity complemented with tannins. Vegetal notes are discernible in the mouth with the slight toasted aromas of barrel aging. Concentrated and complex wine, good proportions, long and substantial finish.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
