Winemaking
Perhaps the great dry wine from Tokaj, it has been known for centuries in Poland and Northern Europe. Maybe the only dry wine crafted by Botrytis. It may be the reason Comte de Chalon came from Jura to spend his life in Tokaj. This wine gives a full range of emotional sensations in your body, like the classical Tokaj Aszú, but dry. Returning to the scene, this wine is meant to dazzle the most experimented palates. Definitely a new colour in the world of wine.
Wine tasting
“More mature tones with warm golden shade. Powerful nose with primarily green walnut, bread crust and yeast aromas. A hint of saltiness is also perceptible in the nose. Fresh with traces of sultanas and Botrytis notes. Dry in the mouth with acids that are discreet rather than strong. It fills the mouth completely though the tannins are refined and rounded. In mid sip the flavours evoke a touch of sultana accompanied by less minerality and wet leaves and baked apple. The wine has a refined structure.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
