Winemaking
Palandor 2011 is a single-vineyard dry Furmint from Palandor vineyard. We harvested healthy bunches in mid-September, pressed them in a traditional basket press and after settling the must we fermented the whole lot in barrel. Barrel aging for a couple of months after fermentation. Barrel: 220-l Szerednyei by Miklóssy.
Wine tasting
“Its colour shows a more mature wine. The nose is mature with warm tones, totally developed. Subtly mineral with very complex mineral content of the land. A developed, clean wine with superb structure. The barrel presence can be felt with a touch of alcohol emphasis at the end of the sip. Green walnut, flint and traces of yeastiness to discover. Mature, long wine with warm tones and long finish.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
