Winemaking

Hand selected grapes were harvested at the end of September 2016. Pressed immediately after destemming at a maximum of 1.2 bars. We fermented the must in 5-year-old barrels with local yeast. After fermentation, we kept it on fine lees, batonnage twice a week.

Wine tasting

“A wine of grapes from vines planted in the 1970s, grown exclusively on loess and harvested in early October. The totally healthy and ripe grapes are the foundation for this family winery. Expressly charming in the nose, with honey-pear-clove nature introducing itself. Aging in barrel gives a defined framework to the structure, a slight tannin content accompanies the sip to the end. Spontaneously fermented, impeccable balance and proportions. Appealing and light flavours make this a truly friendly wine.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
