Winemaking: Grapes for this wine were harvested from the highest part of Sajgó vineyard on the edge of Bodrogkeresztúr. Smaller, loose bunches of beautiful and perfectly healthy grapes were selected and, after destemming and crushing, underwent skin contact for 12 hours. After settling, it fermented slowly in small barrels up until February. The chosen wine lot is still maturing in oak and the remainder will be blended after racking to become part of the estate wine. Bottling of the Auction lot is expected in June 2015.

Wine tasting: “Füleky wines generally radiate a sort of airy refinedness; they have for years. Elegant, these wines are never attempting for cheap success. This wine differs in that it starts with a much more defined structure. Its elegance is nourished by superb acidity; an exceptionally very long finish with salty minerality.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
