Winemaking: The aszú berries were macerated and pressed in new and fermenting wine for 20-24 hours. After pressing and racking, the Aszú was matured in Szerednyei barrels. This 2010 vintage has retained its freshness and fruitiness in both nose and palate and, together with its Eszencia quality, this is a wine to be enjoyed..

Wine tasting: “2010 may not be one of the readily approachable Aszú years, but it has a firm reputation among sweet wine cognoscenti. It yielded acids comparable to 1999, but the wines have a lighter touch. Fresh and fruity on the nose and on the palate – creating a full list of summer fruits. Highly dominating botrytis character all around the aromatics. Young, vivid wine with a long citrus betoned aftertaste.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
