Winemaking: This wine from around 1 hectare in the Úrágya dűlő fermented in a 400-litre barrel and has been maturing in a 225-litre barrel since the first racking. This was the first expressly dry wine harvest after those of the early ripening varieties. We selected from the healthy bunches. After one night of skin contact, the wine continued fermenting until late January. Bottling is expected to be in May.

Tasting notes: “The multi-layered bouquet duly delivers the spicy-floral notes expected of the grape variety. In the mouth the terroir takes the baton with mineral flavours verging on tartness. This is an eminently stable wine that shows remarkable consistency of character from the initial sip right to the end of the finish.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
