he Tokaj-Hétszőlő estate’s first-class vineyards lie on south-facing slopes near the town of Tokaj. The history of the 55-hectare Tokaj-Hétszőlő estate began in 1502 when the Garai family assembled seven vineyards (hét=seven, szőlő=vineyard). The loess soil of the estate gives Hétszőlő wines their silkiness and elegance, crowned with freshness. This refined elegance has distinguished Hétszőlő wines for centuries.
The Hétszőlő Estate owns the very atmospheric 15th-century heritage Rákóczi Cellar on the main square in Tokaj, the perfect place for wine tastings and events.
