In just a few years, the winery in the centre of Mád grew from almost “nothing”. With the utmost care we harvest from 26 hectares in the most outstanding 22 parcels in 7 vineyards. Where necessary we employ yield control and make our exceptional, premium wines from the 6 grape varieties of Tokaj Wine Region (Furmint, Hárslevelű, Kabar, Zéta, Sárgamuskotály, Kövérszőlő). Our wine style is a blend of tradition and modern precision: we look for the greatest harmony of the vineyard and variety, always striving for perfection.
The modern estate centre has a 2-km long cellar labyrinth on three levels which was begun in the 16th century. Today visitors can enjoy a wine tasting as well as a unique treasure hunt. It was chosen as the most outstanding wine experience by VinCe wine magazine in 2016 and again in 2017.
