We have been building our genuine and friendly, small family winery over the last 18 years. Continuing the family tradition, we are building our estate completely with our own resources. The Bodnár family started working with vines in 1969. In that year our parents planted the first vines in the Úrágya vineyard, Mád. Hard work means that today the estate has expanded to 7.8 hectares. Until 2007 we concentrated on sweet wines with high sugar content, and within that 6 puttonyos Aszú. This strategy is mainly influenced by the fact that a significant part of our estate is located in the Danczka vineyard, Mád, where aszú berries develop most abundantly.

2007 saw a new direction for the winery which began to offer more elegant, delicate and fragrant late harvests. This slight change in direction, consciously combined with our winemaking philosophy, brought further advances in the life of the winery. 2009 saw a new turning point. With the greatest care we chose terroir from which the most outstanding dry wines can be made. The first of these lots to be bottled were from Galyagas vineyard in Tállya and Szilvás in Mád.

Our winery offers consumers the full range of Tokaji wines. In line with our artisan winemaking we only use our own grapes. Our wines are sold only in bottles. Our greatest pride and joy is our Aszú wine, beautifully aged for a long time.
