The Tokaj-Hétszőlő estate’s first-class vineyards lie on south-facing slopes near Tokaj. In 1502 the Garai family assembled seven vineyards (hét=seven, szőlő=vineyard) which became the 55-hectare Tokaj- Hétszőlő estate. The loess soil makes silky, elegant Hetszőlő wines crowned with freshness. This refined elegance has distinguished Hétszőlő wines for centuries. The Hétszőlő Estate includes the 15th-century Rákóczi Cellar on the main square in Tokaj, the perfect place for wine tastings and events.
