Winemaking: We selected beautiful, healthy bunches with 14 % potential alcohol from our nearly 40-year-old vines in our southeast-facing vineyard in the Urágya-dűlő, Mád. Wines from this terroir typically ferment slowly and evenly and have intensive aromas with salty-sweet mineral notes that can be discerned every year.
Wine tasting: “Grapes from two harvests. The earlier, crisper wine defines the aromas. Clearly intensive linden flower honey notes do not betray either the essence of either variety or terroir. Aging followed a very slow fermentation, the wine opens more slowly in the palate than the nose. Very good balance. Defined, slightly marked (in contrast to the nose) structure typical of the variety. A very concentrated wine whose guarantee for long cellaring can already be felt. Mineral, salty long finish.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
