Winemaking: In Diókút vineyard thanks to hot water springs created by volcanic activity opal and obsidian constantly rise to the surface. Omlás-dűlő has perlite-pumice rhyolite tuff fragments to a depth of 150 m, mixed with grit-nyirok clay soil.

The carefully selected Sárgamuskotály aszú berries were macerated in a Furmint base wine for two days so that the distinctive Muscat aromas and flavours would show clearly in the Aszú wine. Aging in 3-5 year-old Szerednyei barrel.

The distinctive vegetal herbiness and grape character in the nose are practically unparalleled. The use of Sárgamuskotály aszú berries is not uncommon at Béres, but we have seldom met with such intensity. Vital acidity, a little tannin, intensive aromas and flavours. A unique wine indeed.
