WinemakingFrom Furmint grapes grown on the one of the stoniest and highest areas of the estate, around 1500 m2 in the upper terraces bordered by oak forest of the SE-facing Öreg Királydűlő. Optimally ripe golden bunches were selected during the harvest. We spontaneously fermented and matured the wine in barrels. Thanks to the careful harvesting and work in the winery this is a fruit-filled, crystal clear, mineral and elegant wine with excellent balance and long ageing potential.

Tasting notes: “Thanks to the vintage, this wine not only delivers the quintessential expression of the Király vineyard in its acidity and minerally character but also achieves exactly the right measure of vigour. It is especially lovable for its complete lack of ponderousness despite the big body. An elegant wine. Lovely character with plenty of herbs.” (Gabriella Mészáros)
