We are delighted to introduce two new colleagues at the Confrérie:

Eszter Szilágyi-Tréba is working as the organiser, the successor to Rita Takaró, assisting in achieving our shared aims.

“I have been working in the media for 15 years as a radio and TV reporter and presenter. I studied communication at the University of Szeged and economics and marketing at the University of Miskolc. Wine and food have always played an important part in my life so in my free time I started the WSET training which directed me towards the Tokaj Wine Region  which I have always loved.

I have been the organiser of Tokaj Autumn since 2016 and also assist in the marketing of the Tokaji Furmint glass.

It is an enormous honour that I am organising the Confrérie de Tokaj events and coordinate the Great Tokaj Wine Auction, thus assisting in achieving the shared aims.”

Anna Gézárt is working to extend our international relations.

“I have long been interested in various cultures and cuisines and that is what directed me to the world of wine: after an international agricultural studies and apprenticeship at Tokaj Oremus, as part of the International Master Vintage Program I studied in France, Spain and Italy, and had the opportunity to visit many wine regions in Europe. In the Confrérie team my role is to strengthen Confrérie contacts with French- and Spanish-speaking countries and to encourage professionals and wine lovers alike to become acquainted with the exciting world of Tokaji wines. In addition I will ensure that foreign visitors to the Tokaj Spring event in April will be enriched by a memorable experience of the wine region.”
